I have been living a handmade lifestyle since childhood, our family were always making things for themselves. I find I’m at my happiest when in the process of creating something new with the skills I have learn’t . From cheese making to the extremes of a handbuilt house when I lived in Oz it seems I’m always involved in some type of designing or making activity.
Right now my main focus is with fibre in it’s many guises, from the delights of soft and silky wools and other goodies, yarn in all it’s manifestations and ofcourse fabric – a special love of mine being velvet.
Currently based for a while inIreland near Kilkenny , by the beautiful river Nore.
Love what your making – especially his and hers hats and socks, just looking at the moment,but with Christmas comming I think I`ll have some very happy friends – and of course something for me!
